The crew you were missing
TrekHub is the digital hostel common room. The place where you meet someone heading the same way, sketch a route together, and figure out the rest. Not a travel agency. A home base for autonomous trekkers.
The digital hostel common room
Independent travel used to mean autonomy, serendipity, and real connections. Packaged group tours traded all of that for convenience. We want the adventure back, minus the one thing that is hard to find alone: the crew.
So we built the common room online. You bring the intention; TrekHub helps you find the people, compare the routes, and plan the trek together before anyone laces up.
Beyond matching and planning, TrekHub also gathers practical knowledge to help you prepare: editorial trek guides, route analysis, and gear advice. It is there to inform your choices, not to make them. We cannot promise this information is always current or exact, so cross-check the essentials before you set off.
What we believe
- Autonomy over convenience. You plan your own adventure. TrekHub empowers, it never takes over.
- Authentic connections. Trekkers form their own crews around shared intentions. No company assembles strangers into a product.
- No mass tourism. No pre-packaged itineraries, no tour coordinators, no age brackets. The routard spirit, digitized.
- Planning is part of the journey. Deciding together builds the bond before the trek even begins.
Three ways to trek with TrekHub
The solo planner
You are going, with or without company. Build your plan, your library, and your gear list in your own space. If a crew clicks later, you are already ready.
The crew seeker
Post your intention and get matched with trekkers heading the same way, on the same dates, at your level. Form a crew that would not have existed otherwise.
The friends group
Already have your people? Spin up a private crew with a join code and start planning together from day one.
What TrekHub is not
We are not a travel agency. There is no booking, no payment, and no tour to buy here. Any agreement you make with another trekker happens off-platform, directly between you.
The platform is free for trekkers, with no booking and no fees.
Early days, built in the open
TrekHub is young: worldwide from day one, with editorial trek guides starting in Nepal, and built by a very small team (a team of one, for now). If something feels rough, tell us. You are helping shape it.
