This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on trekhub.app.
What is a cookie
A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. It lets the site recognise your browser, keep you signed in, and remember some preferences.
Cookies we use
TrekHub only uses cookies that are strictly necessary to provide the service:
- __Host-trekhub_refresh
- Keeps you signed in. Stores your refresh token, HttpOnly and Secure, and expires after 7 days. Your access token is kept in memory, not in a cookie.
- NEXT_LOCALE
- Remembers your chosen language (English or French).
No advertising or analytics trackers
At this stage TrekHub uses no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics trackers. Because only strictly necessary cookies are used, no consent banner is required under CNIL guidance. If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the service.
